One Thing Not Made Obsolete By Technology

Yesterday, on 1-11-11, Ann and I officially celebrated our 25th anniversary. We actually began the celebration with a week-long trip to the Greek island of Kos last September and have been basking in the glow for the past three months.

Someone asked us yesterday what lessons we had learned from each other. My answer was simple. “From Ann I have learned love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness and, to some extent, self-control.”

Amen for marriage! One man, one woman, committed to each other for a lifetime. Trust me, commitment will never become obsolete.

Wishing you both a fulfilling time at Kos. 25 years is worth celebrating. Thank God for your lives and may He keep you both to the end.

Hi! I just wanted to say that some people have made marriage just as instant and meaningless as a facebook chat conversation. Thank you for proving that marriage is a covenant and really will never become obsolete. I think you two are the bee’s knees and I’m so proud of your example. I’ve bragged about y’all a bunch this week. Love you much!

Your loving daughter,
Amy 🙂
